Micheaux Awards
MAFL strives to promote creative and professional development for filmmakers of color in Arkansas through two initiatives: The Micheaux Award which distributes grants annually to assist filmmakers and creatives; and The Micheaux Film Labs, which facilitates year-round educational experiences, career readiness, and networking opportunities to strengthen the Arkansas-based creative communities of color.
